Development Appraisals two hour Evening Class.

This course is being run by Kingston University and is specifically aimed at members who are preparing for the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence.

  • Can turnover rents apply to any premises ?
  • Are turnover rents appropriate in a recession ?
  • How does a landlord ensure accuracy of tenant turnover information ?
  • What levels of confidentiality apply to turnover information ?
  • Can a base rent be reserved in addition to a turnover rent ?
  • What restrictions can be imposed upon assignment and subletting when a turnover rent is payable ?

Speaker: Richard Evans MA(Cantab), LLB has had a long career as a solicitor specialising in commercial property. Following qualification at Stephenson Harwood in the City of London he was a partner at Nabarro Nathanson for over 20 years and latterly a consultant there. For many years he has advised a large number of the UK's leading property companies and pension funds upon the development and letting of offices and shopping centres.
