How do I register my passport online? Simply click the Register button at the top of the screen. Then fill in the boxes, including your email address, a password of your own choice and the number on the front of your CPDF passport and press Submit. Next time you go to the website, just fill in your email address and password at the top of the screen and click the Login button. Forgotten your password? On the Member Login page, you can request that we email your password. Just submit your email address and your password will be sent automatically. How do I book a lecture online? Go to the Events tab and press on Current Events. Click on a lecture title to find more details about the event and then, if you wish to book the lecture, click on the booking icon to the right of the lecture title. An email reminder will be sent to you on the day of the lecture. The lecture will automatically be logged on your online CPD record and will remain there if you attend the event. How do I cancel a lecture online? The easiest way to cancel a lecture is to send us an email via the Contact Us page. Just tell us the date of the lecture and we will remove your name from the delegate list. You can then manually delete the lecture from your CPD Record. How do I download lecture notes? This facility is for members only. If you’ve missed a lecture or have mislaid your handout, you can print these off the website. Simply go to Lecture Notes on the menu bar and you will see all past lectures in the current programme – click on the download link to read or print off the handouts. Handouts and/or the presentations appear on the website the day after the lecture has taken place. Can I search lecture notes by topic? Yes, just enter key words such as e.g. “Residential” or “Valuations” and it will display all past lectures with these words in the title. How do I use my online CPD Record? This facility is for members only. All events booked online are automatically sent to your CPD Record. Each lecture will stay on there, as long as you attend the lecture and have your name confirmed at the Registration desk. If you fail to attend, the event will be removed from your Record after 30 days. What if I attended the lecture but arrived too late for Registration? You can simply call up your CPD Record and on the Summary page click on the relevant lecture. By entering a value in the Total time spent on this activity box, the lecture will remain on your record. Do I have to book online to use the CPD Record? No, lectures booked by other methods can be added to the Record manually by clicking on the Add New CPD Record tab. Also, events by other organisations and other learning activities can be added to the Record, as required. |
